I am using a Focusrite Scarlett 18i20 3rd gen. I'm trying to set channels 9 & 10 as my output, since that is where my headphones are plugged in. When I go to configure those channels at the output, I receive the attached error when exiting. At this point, I am now stuck. I cannot change 9 & 10 back to 1 & 2 without getting the 4 output channel error. The only thing I can do is quit and restart Jamkazam.

I have been using this simple little plastic microphone since I joined in April 2020. Worked perfectly.
But about one month ago, it started being garbled, total static. (about the same time as the infamous Dec upgrade ?)
If I go into Windows 10 parameters and into audio options, I can monitor the microphone thru the speakers... the microphone still works flawlessly.
If I do a "JamChat setup" in Jamkazam Audio Settings, I can create a JamChat audio gear, and when I start a Private session, it works perfectly too !
But activiating a JamChat audio gear does not allow me to have my guitar in the session !
If I try to start a Private session, with my Guitar audio gear setup activated and no "chat microphone", then it blocks saying it did not find the chat gear.
(had to delete the JamChat gear and restart Jamkazam to have the guitar working properly again !)
My guitar is plugged in directly into the LINE entry of my computer and I use WDM as a driver.
The microphone is plug into the "FRONT MIC" entry of my computer and also use WDM.
So... am I missing something ?
Or has the december update done something to the chat microphone setups !?!
When the big change happens on the 1st of Jan 2021 and member status changes to Free, Silver, Gold or Platinum, will this be included in their profile.
When you hover over a musician in the Open Jams list, it displays a dialogue box with the musician details. It looks as though it reports the latency to that musician: "Your latency to .... is ..." but when I hover over any musician the latency is always "UNKNOWN". Is this generally working or is it a problem with my setup?
I have been using JK for years. Most recently, I have been using it at least once a week without having many issues. Tonight, when I start up a private session or join one, it works for about a minute and then crashes. Is anyone else having this issue tonight? The only change that I made to computer was to install a new video card. I don't see how that would do anything.
Two different computers and three different audio-interfaces with the same problem.
1. Windows 7-64bit with Presonus USB 96
2. Windows 8.1 64-bit with Presonus Studio 26c
3. Windows 8.1 64-bit with Behringer UMC404HD
Using the respective ASIO control panels (Universal Control for PreSonus, UMC for Behringer) I set the buffer size to 128. I have tried other larger block sizes also.
As soon as I go into JK and start/enter a session the block size is reset to 16 on the PreSonus devices and 8 on the Behringer. I cannot get good audio performance at these levels. I have tried to set the block size again once in a session but JK senses the change, shows a "re-initializing audio interface" message, and immediately sets it back right before my eyes.
I heard mention yesterday of a user having the same issue with a Focusrite that JK keeps resetting to to a buffer of 96.
Responses welcome that might help explain/resolve this issue. Please don't opine that 8 or 16 should be good enough - that does not address the problem of JK resetting my devices differently from how I set them. I have also tried all those "open a DAW first and 'lock' in the settings" suggestions to no avail.
I have tried updated drivers, backdated drivers, safe mode, (un)safe mode - pretty much everything I can think of.
My speculation: This seems like JK not playing well with the ASIO SDK - the SDK includes calls and parameters for setting buffer size and buffer size changes.
I downloaded and installed the Linux Beta version of Jamkazam. All works well (no video, but I don't mind). But I can't seem te record a session... Is this due to the beta version, of can it be overcome? With the recording available, I think it will be useable for me...
I am able to stream to YouTube, but when I enter Facebook's server & key, the press Start Broadcast it ends up almost right away. I am getting two notifications: Live Stream Started, and then Live Stream Shutdown. Facebook preview is waiting for the stream, and nothing shows up. I am on Mac (High Sierra, 10.13.6) with the latest version JamKazaa. Please help if you can.
Computer: Dell XPS 15 9560 laptop

After clicking "NEXT" in the "Add New Gear" screen, the screen becomes scrambled with unreadable text (see file attachment).
(Note: I found that if I copy and paste text to a Word document, I am able to clearly read the text.)
I would greatly appreciate any assistance in resolving this problem.
