So - after getting the most current client Windows client installed - and installing ASIO drivers for my PreSonus 2|6 USB
I was able to get a working configuration.
However - if I try to add a second channel ( like for vocal or guitar) - the audio gets a nasty scratchy sound in it.
I am wonder if perhaps this is an issue with the performance capabilities of the PreSonus 2|6. It's a USB 2.0 interface.
Not sure. Any thoughts/experience with this particular USB 2.0 device being able to support 2 audio channels on JamKazam?
I don't mind updating to a USB-C device, if that's going to solve the problem. But don't want to buy one if it's not the issue.
Any recommendations for a specific Audio interface to support two audio channels? (one for vocal and one for guitar)
I'm organizing a weekly session that will run Thursday mornings at 9:00 AM pacific for an hour (We have a short list of rock songs from the 60s to the 90s that we're currently working on but as things develop will definitely be open to suggestions as long as they're in the same general style)
The two of us that have been working towards this are located north of Seattle in Wa$ngton state. The name of the session is Pacific Northwest and calls for users to RSVP
I'm using Roxio USB 2861 device successfully for audio.
I'd like to use it for video as well. All appears ok:
When I click Test, the webcam window opens and immediately closes.
The web cam works fine.
Im running Win7 Ultimate, 64 bit.
Is it possible to get this to work or do I need a different USB interface?

PS: I know camera and USB device is working because it works great with the Roxio app.
Backing track licensing: When you create a session you agree to a music licensing agreement. I think it's ok to share charts that I may have obtained from Ultimate Guitar Tabs etc, but mp3s that were gathered from many different sources, adjusted for key etc could be a violation if somebody may ask you to provide proof of purchase.
JamTracks purchased in the app should be fine, I'm talking about the music collections many of us have.
I use a Midas M32R... which is the same as any other midas or behringer mixer within the X-M family... anyways it used to work great for me and I have not changed anything. My issue is i cannot hear any playback now, i see the sound is working. I've tried resetting my drivers and gear and something funny is happening i notice. When im selecting my inputs and outputs, i notice that the outputs don't always work. Furthermore i can get it to play my guitar when i select two outputs only and then it comes through only one of my outputs on my board? I would be fine with that only as soon as i get to the next screen to test the music playback, no outputs work again, same as when I'm in a session.
If you are familiar with the board, how i have been running it and how i am running it still is this: channels 1-8 are my inputs i just run my guitar and mic off channel 1 and 2 and turn everything else off. i switch the local ins on the board to CARD 9-16 and run the outputs on channels 9 and 10... it only comes through channel 10... same as when i tried 15 and 16... it only came through 16... if I try 10 and 16 alone there is no sound.
Like i said it worked for me absolutely fine before and now i get no audio, maybe my interface is too complex for jam kazam as it seems most of the interfaces it gears towards are simple small interfaces, just frustrating how it used to work. hope someone can help me.
