I'm a FNG to this whole thing and was wondering if a person could just listen in on a session?

You will need to establish an JK account. And, in the application setup you will need to have a audio device setup. There used to be a listen option but was removed post covid. It wasn't working anyway. After you get things setup you an drop into open session and just listen.

I recommend, yes require or demand, do not use alienating terms.
