JK crashes (Not Responding) every time I try to connect to any session. |

I was playing with my bandmates for about two months then… JK pushed an update a few weeks ago now JK crashes (Not Responding) every time I try to connect to any session.
I have a Lenovo Thinkstation workstation class computer with an Intel Xeon ES-1630 v3 3.7 GHZ Quad Core CPU – 48 GB of RAM – SSD RAID 10 drive array – latest version of Windows 10 Pro OS 64 Bit OS and a Nvidia P6000 Video card. My network router is a Synology AC 2600 and a 1GB PakEdge switch. My internet connection is 600 down and 40 up with a Static IP address from Spectrum. Additionally, I am using a Logitec Meetup Video Teleconferencing box for video.
I have tried everything I can think of. I uninstalled JK and deleted all the leftover files and installed a fresh install. I checked for updates. I tried 3 different interfaces. A Steinberg UR-44 II, a Zoom UAC-2 (USB-3) and a Roland Quad Capture. They all yield the same results.
JK completes the media relay server search process successfully every time.
Additionally, I tried my Laptop. Lenovo Thinkstation workstation class laptop with similar specs and it does the exact same thing. Crashes (Not Responding) when I try to connect to a session.
Anyone have any ideas?

gear driver and latency (and frame size) |

I'm sure this subject is dealt with in one way or another here there and everywhere, and I've looked but get confused, sorry :/
simply, trying to improve my audio profile I have found that....
driver wdm -> frame size 10 and latency 4
driver asio4all -> I can lower the frame size to 1 but the latency rises to 12 (if I leave the frame size at 10 the latency rises to 30 !)
I thought that asio is the way to go but that doesn't seem to be the case.
I suspect there must be another parameter I'm not manipulating..... help, ideas please, thanks in advance

Unable to RSVS using client app on a Mac |

I am unable to RSVP for a session using the client app installed on my iMac. When I attempt to do so, the app asks me to select an instrument among the list that is given, but the check boxes to select an instrument, are not there. However, when I log into the web version of JK, I AM ABLE to RSVP because the check boxes appear in front of all the listed instruments, as they are supposed to. I use client app for jamming. It would be nice to be able to use it for RSVPing as well. Advice welcome.

Clean Jk install? |

Could anyone please tell me how to do a clean install of the JK client? As far as I know, a normall re-install of the client still leaves some files (configuration etc) from the previous installation but I wanted to try reinstalling everything from scratch.
My problem is that, although JK is working fine for sessions playing with my band, it is completely failing to upload any of my audio tracks to the server or to download any of my bandmates' tracks from the server. I have tried basic things like rebooting my router, reinstalling the app 'normally', etc, but to no avail. Another band member has got a near-identical setup to mine (MacBook, same ISP, same router/configuration) and their file upload/download is working faultlessly. After band sessions, I put all the individual tracks into a DAW and do mixes, which generally work out very well. However, at the moment, I have to get the band members to send me their tracks via Dropbox, because I am completely unable to get them via JK itself.
The next thing I was going to try is a complete clean reinstall of the JK client in case there is some configuration file somewhere that has got corrupted (or something similar). Any help on how to do this, or which files I need to delete to start afresh, would be appreciated.
Many thanks
Steve

My mix tracks different than master |

I'm testing out the Runaround Sue JamTrack and finding that when I create my own mix, the background vocal track is misaligned with the other tracks and sounds very bad compared to the master track. I tested this in the web client (and mac desktop app) and got the same result in both. I compared the "master" track to one I created with the mixer (all tracks on except for the click track.) I tried to attach the MP3 files to this post, but the attachments were rejected. Is this something that can be fixed? If not, I won't be able to use the JamTrack.
UPDATE: I tried creating a new mix from my Windows machine, but got the same result. The backing vocal track is $fted about 2 seconds earlier than it should be relative to the other tracks... It's really obvious if you compare a full mix to the "Full JamTrack".
UPDATE #2: I downloaded the individual tracks into Audition and the Voice (backing) track starts almost exactly 1.5 seconds too soon. The others line up nicely.
Thanks,
Fred

Now - PAID SUBSCRIPTIONS? |

So we just got an email from Jamkazam basically saying that they are converting to a paid subscription service. They will offer a "free" option but with extremely reduced audio quality and greatly reduced usage time, users in a session and monthly maximums that make it pretty useless.
I'm not opposed to as subscription service. But if I'm going to pay, I feel that the stability of Jamkazam has to VASTLY improve. There are been so many problems in the past 2 months with each update that it is now way worse than it was back in the summer. We have not had a trouble-free session in months. Mostly we've just given up. The beta testing program has to be completely revised - no update should be sent out and forced upon users unless fully tested by a smaller group of beta testers. We shouldn't have to pay to be beta testers here. Before such paid service is introduced, Jamkazam really should have a stable release out there before asking people to pay.

Application crashes when making video changes |

After the most recent JamKazam update (12/3?), my bandmates and I have experienced some pretty major issues with the application crash ing/unexpectedly quitting. The crashes seem to most often occur when making changes to the video window - opening or closing the video window, shuffling users within the layout, changing layout view, etc), but sometimes the crashes just happen randomly. We had a session last night (a live-stream that had been scheduled prior to the latest update), and each of our 4 band members experienced a crash at least once while getting the app setup prior to going live (2 of us crashed multiple times). The last time it crashed was moments after we had gone live - I was the Broadcaster, and the program crashed on me about 45 seconds in, right when I hit the keyboard shortcut to shuffle users in the video layout. This derailed our entire broadcast for about 20 mins while we did damage control.
All of us are using Macs (Mojave or Catalina OS). I have a UA Apollo Twin MkII Thunderbolt interface, using a Zoom Q2HD as a webcam. 2 of my bandmates are using 3rd-gen Focusrite Scarlett interfaces, and the built-in webcams on their Macs. Our other bandmate has a MOTU M4, with a Logitech C920 HD Pro webcam.
Any advice for curing these crashes would be greatly appreciated - we have another live stream planned for next weekend, and are more concerned about the reliability of JamKazam for this than usual (certainly worked our way through plenty of bugs in doing similar sessions and streams over the last few months, but had the system working well enough to be pretty confident in using it for some live events that went fairly smoothly... Not expecting the system to be perfect, but these crashes are a bit more egregious than what we've encountered in the past and a potentially significant hinderance to successfully using this software).
Thanks!
