Hi,

I am connecting to JamKazam with a Behringer Xenyx Q502USB mixer. I am able to connect and hear Jam Tracks. However when I set up a session, I can hear those that join the session, but I cannot hear myself, and they cannot hear me. I play an acoustic / upright bass and am connected to the mixer via the Mic port. My questions are:

1.   Does anyone know if the Behringer Xenyx Q502USB mixer is compatible with JamKazam?
2.   If it is, does anyone know the magic settings to help make it work?
3.   If it is not, does anyone know a good / inexpensive mixer that is compatible that I can use.

I am new and when I try to text my equipment for latency, it doesn't even see my interface.  The detailed help link is down.  I have the Universal driver that comes with the presonus interface.  I cannot ASIO listed in any of the drivers in that Universal driver group.  What am I doing wrong?

OK friends, looking for some Windows insight here myself this time.

Trying to aid a colleague in the UK but we keep running into the same issue. 'Remnants' of an earlier installation blocking a fresh install.

He has a desktop/tower machine running W10 and had JKZ installed and - sort of - working back in march with v1.0.3698.
Since then an update went south and after a lot of trial and error he gave up on JKZ.

Now, trying to get back into the game he has de-installed the non-functioning client, scanned his system, both manually and with some tools, for remaining files (there were none), did a registry scan and clean and manually deleted the JKZ folders in the two(?) known locations under AppData. Rather thorough I would think.

However, trying to reinstall JamKazam from a freshly downloaded current .msi gives the puzzling error that the prior version (v1.0.3698) cannot be removed upon which the install hangs.(??!)

Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

view days ago I could change the "Maximum Outgoing Music Bitrate"  and the the frame size manualy in the JamKazam-Gui under: Manage - Audio  Settings - Audio Booster like it was presented by Oz Saunds in the YouTube-Video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vWMk4iqhNwE&t=521. It seems to be not anymore possible to change these settings under Manage......

Today I was about to help a friend in a remote telcon how to reduce his latency. Now it seems, that a lot of possibilities to change settings have been changed. Is there a description of changes in the last ten days?

I just purchased a Focusrite Solo, 3rd Gen that I’m using on my Windows 10 Desktop. Jamkazam recognizeds the ASIO but shows no latentcy and then I only get green or yellow following that in I/O setup. After I uninstalled and reinstalled the software it is now Red on latency and red on I/O. What am I doing wrong? How can I fix?

I think the Upcoming Jams page desperately needs a "Search" box similar to the one in Open Jams.  It takes ages to go through all the active and outdated posts that are on there!!

i'm from Italy with Fastweb connection 100 Mb .

I've placed all the forwarding possible on router , but when open a session with 4 frineds , i didn't hear no sound from some of them .

Sometimes i hear people far away from me ( ireland, Spain ) but my firend that is 100 meter from my home is grayed . 

Other time i can jam with two friends in my city  but other times not . 

Is there anyone that has the same issue ? 

When trying to test network , comes up the warning about port number changing packet ......


I'll be glad for every kind of help about this .

although I have still some technical issues with my audio interface plus some connection problems (regarding IPv4/IPv6) I managed a session with two friends of mine.
Afterwards I felt so happy and I realized how much I missed playing music with other people in those Corona times.
I want to thank you for that, people who are running Jamkazam.

How do I cancel a session I created ?

I think a good addition to the platform would be to start a Musicians Wanted Bulletin Board where jammers can find other jammers to create groups for jamming.  There should be the ability to respond to the thread.  

Also the Upcomimng Sessions page should be edited as it is littered with old posts and numerous duplicate posts.
