Hi,

First my Setup:

The edrum is connected via USB to my Computer. The interface Steinberg MK2 also via USB connected to my PC (Wondows 10).
The edrum goes through ableton where all drivers (ASIO) corretly installed. So i can play with individual drum sounds with ca. 3,xx ms latency.

Now i want to connect to Jamkazam. I choose my Steinberg interface in Audio gear settings, but not with ASIO drivers. I thing this is blocked through ableton. So i can only choose the interface with WDM drivers. I pass all settings and hear finaly the sound that all settings are correctly over my headphones.

Now in a privat or public session there is now sound from my drums through jamkazam. But i can hear the drums on my headphones over ableton.

When i quit ableton and choose in Audio gear settings the steinberg ASIO drivers (just now there are available) i hear nothing. Because i need ableton for my individual drum sounds.

An error shows me that there is no signal in the line in at the interface. But i cant stick something from my edrum (MIDI) to the interface (XLR) - this wont work, because MIDI isnt sound - this are just electric infos.


Can someone please  help?

Add in the  feed area,      

a symbol, next to play/preview audio, whether the open session is broadcasting or private is turned on ??  I get the message private may be  turned on ?? will make it easier to scroll thru the Feed open sessions and preview the players before previewing or joining in that music genre.....

the pop up messages disappear off the screen tooooo... fast on all screens .. before i can click OK ...etc to join or even to read what the message is most of the time.... and scroll the mouse there to click it ! its gone??

Hello. We have a student who tries to open JamKazam and every time she does, all she gets is a message that says  "reattempting to load www.jamkazam.com..."  
I have tried reinstalling the latest stand-alone version from JamKazam. Has anyone had this problem and been able to resolve this issue?
I would really like to help this student if I can. Thank you for any assistance.

Im having some trouble with audio, and when I go to "auto device configuration" it lists the wrong devices. It does not list my Scarlett Solo.
please help.

Apologies if this is a naive question but completely new to this technology.

I have just recently purchase a focusrite 2i2 and started using jamkazam, I have had a couple of sessions with my guitar just direct into the focusrite and it was ok, but tonight I wanted to play with a bit of overdrive so decided to use my line 6firehawk fx, I thought it sounded ok at my end.

So my question is what are the pros and cons of multi effects VST plug ins, such as guitar rig 5 versus a multi effects unit

We open our own custom drum backing tracks in a Jamkazam session.  Works pretty well but quite often we can't close the file so we can open the next one.
Fairly good session today with four of us all located between Seattle and the Canadian border ....we continue to have problems when we open a local audio file or Jam track and about half the time it won't close so that you can go on to the next one ...

we did discover that even though I started the session I can leave and the three remaining musicians can invite me back in at which point the file will close....... This is our number one problem with JamKazam right now


   

When an approval request appears in Notifications it would be useful to be able to enquire upon the requestor's details ; Location, Instrument etc. via the usual window. Currently I have to open Jamkazam in a browser, separately, to do this. Sometimes the Requestors' ID cannot be found in the Search, which doesn't help.

This assumes that they bother to complete their profile, of course!

I, as a regular fan of the application, would like to request a feature. I am looking to provide "Fan" access thru my television in a semi seamless way. This could be done with a thin application for android tv, which streams a fan room. No input is required. Thanks in advance.

1. The mute button is handy...   a solo button would be equally handy
2.  A room max occupancy option would make managing the flow of guests SO MUCH EASIER.
     You could set a maximum users for a room once and forget it so getting overloaded 
      with guests would be avoided without having to constantly manage the access status.

So I'm headed out for a rehearsal & I don't want to tote a tube amp, even though I have some ax fx 2 power amp. I grabbed my (now discontinued) Crate Power Block. It sounds great w/a JBL K120! Nice & punchy w/tons of headroom. I have to say that convenience has won out here & I'm pretty sure I'm going to use it at my next gig.
Anybody else here wants to confess an appreciation for a particular SS amp?
