Searching History |

I was in session with a musician from Denver. He had to leave and left his name in the chat of that session so I could connect with him after I was done playing. I was looking for this particular musician from the session last night and when I went to my History and opened the session details, I found that the screen cuts off all of the names of the musicians who joined the session early. Unfortunately, this part of the list includes the musician I was looking for. I click on the Session hot link and it gives a list of all the people who joined the session and there you can see his name. I search his name in the search bar and it again populates the search with about 10 items but it doesn't find this particular musician. Am I going crazy? I see this musician listed in the session list. I can't get to his active name to connect. Are there other routes to connect?

How to connect live drums int JK? |

Greetings. I need some adult supervision, please.
I wish to collaborate with others on JK with a live drum kit. I have everything close mic’d
with 11 channels running into Presonus FireWire. I’m using Logic Pro 10.5 on a Mac.-_
My levels are set and I can get a great drum sound recording into logic. However, I am not clear how to set up JK such that it receives this. When I get to the set up page, it seems to offer the option of setting up two channels. How do I merge my 11 channels from logic into something that’s acceptable to JK and that will match the output that I would normally get from logic in a bounced file?
Please advise.
Thanks,
R

Audio interface recommendations? |

I'm in a vocal quartet, and we'd like to purchase 4 audio interfaces, preferably all the same, to use with JamKazam. Two of us have Macs and 2 have Windows PCs. We'd like to keep it under $200 each if possible. Any recommendations? We're considering the Focusrite Scarlett 2i2, but are looking for any recommendations.
Thanks!

VSTs in MAC/Catalina |

Anyone get this to work?? Every time I scan for new plugins, JK crashes. I try to point to just a specific folder and still crashes. After the crash, when I re-open there are "some" plugins populated in the drop-down, but never the one I was trying to use. Also, when I do select let's say the apple AUReverb2 plugin, it does nothing. Setting wet/dry, never affects the audio signal. I have some hardware workaround for effects but it would be nice to throw on a reverb VST on a vocal track..

RME Fireface 800 WDM and not ASIO?! |

Just wondering why my RME Fireface 800 shows up in Jamkazam as WDM and not ASIO? I have all the drivers etc showing up as ASIO in Cubase though not here? Am using output 5+6 on the FF800 and not anyting to do with Windows as they are off in the Bios and wouldnt use them anyway.
Am using Windows 10 64bit with an AMD Ryzen9 system.
If anyone could help shed some light on this, I would most appreciate it. Can it cause havock in JamKazam as I regularly have crashes when several times in a session.
Thank you

sound quality, volume.... |

Hello,
this post is a little off-subject (so it's miscellaneous) but I thought that in the context there may be someone with some experience which they can share (particularly wind players like me).
I have got setup ready for a session but I have found that what I hear through the headphones isn't great - I have I think mastered the dials and buttons and I can hear me but I need everything turned up high to get some volume and the quality is rather muffled - well, this is the case for the clarinet and to some extent the flute, but not the saxophone - the acoustics for the saxophone when I play at home have always been troublesome and the sound is in fact better in the headphones but this is not so for the clarinet and flute which sound worse over the headphones - I don't have a lot of experience with headphones so maybe all this has nothing todo with jamkazam and the audio interface.
well, these are my observations, does anyone have remarks to make on the subject? maybe there is scope in jamkazam for playing with this but I haven't yet discovered it.
thanks
Ian

Mackie Onyx producer 2.2 interface |

Has anyone got experience using a Mackie Onyx Producer 2.2 audio interface with JK?
At the moment, using the Mackie driver (installed specifically as it is the recommended driver for the interface) I can only get to jam with 1 input (RH port 2), be it vocal or guitar. The LH port 1 just doesn't get picked up by JK.
I have the option to use the windows driver already installed in the pc, and JK picks up both channels then, but the latency is not good enough to jam.
I have spoken in detail with Mackie about this, but they can't help as it is an issue down to JK software.
Anyone got an answer please?
