It is frustrating. I find so many files I would like to buy but I cannot pay for files, neither through Paypal nor through Visa credit card though my card is valid and so is my paypal account.
Any suggestions?
Just wondering if anyone has come across this issue and how they resolved it. We tried restarting JK to no effect. Below is the text of the window that pops up.
Couldn't open metronome
Background:
The metronome feature requires that every user's computer in the session must agree on the current time.
The Problem:
The computers of [my friend] have not successfully synchronized to the current time
Hi everyone. I've been playing 25 years or so and have taught a few workshops in the past based on Blues, R&B, Funk, Soul and Jazz Guitar and i would like to try Jamkazam as a group teaching format. Basically looking for about 5 intermediate guitarists who might want to hang with some other players of similar ability, discuss some approaches and ideas etc. Just so i can test the audio and video capability. Would last an hour or so. If anyone is interested search me on Jamkazam and pop me a message? Cheers.
I've been trying to correct the fact that my guest musician's audio comes through the computer's internal speakers and not my headphones. Haven't figured it out yet. If anyone had a blinding flash of the obvious I would deeply appreciate it. Thanks!
New user here. Setup Jamkazam (Windows) and am having problems with what I hear through either the speakers or headphones connected to my PC. My audio chain is:
Guitar >> Fractal Audio Axe-FX II >> PC over USB3
I'm using the FAS Audio ASIO driver for the input and am using my Creative Labs Z (WDM) driver for the output. There's no way to disable direct monitoring on the Axe-FX so I have no choice but to "monitor" using the PC soundcard. If I try and use the ASIO driver for the soundcard then Jamkazam reports that there's no device connected and it all gets a bit messy. My settings are as per the attached pic.
So... Jamkazam reports all as working. Bit of input/output jitter, but I'll figure that out soon enough. I start playing and 50% of the time, there's a truly horrid digital distortion sound coming out of the headphones/speakers. When I record using Jamkazam the recorded output is crystal clear, likewise if I connect to a friend's session, he can hear everything perfectly.
Does anyone have any ideas as to how I can remedy this situation please as I've tried everything I can think of.
Hi - I'm struggling with the Windows client cra$ng on me quite frequently. Running a pretty clean Windows 10 machine with plenty of resources and nothing but Jamkazam, Addictive Drums 2, and Universal Control for Presonus installed and the app crashes multiple times during every session. Wondering if there's someone that could help analyze the log file to determine where there's a fault.
New user to jk, trying to do a simple setup involving earbud/mics. With Windows 10, I installed ASIO4ALL as driver, and I am able to get through the Audio Gear setup process successfully, including ability to hear the test sound just before completion of the setup (the 'Play' button).
But, as soon as I try to do a solo session or other, no audio works at all. It does not accept mic input, nor do I hear anything back.
Moreover, I notice that, when I am NOT in the session, I can play and hear audio in other places (Spotify, Youtube). When I enter the session, those services quit: Youtube won't even play a video due to the failure of the audio.
Exiting the session then seems to restore audio in other places, though not always - when not, a restart of the computer seems to get me there.
I'm new to this so I tested a recording. My Mic is all the way up in Levels. When I play back the Recording I hear it very faint that I can barely hear it. No matter how hot I put the Record volume, it's the same all the time. I'm not playing with anyone. I just started. I'm trying first to set levels & test things out. Watched all the videos of setting up Audio Gear, Network etc. I have both channels of my Mackie Onyx Black Jack interface set up for Inputs & Outputs 1 & 2. I see the meters and they are hot and in the red. But I hear almost nothing when I play back the recording. I went into Mixer and made those levels hot also. No difference.
