I'm getting extremely frustrated with JK app crashes and JK server disconnects. The only support and viable documentation seems to be coming from this forum. I sent a JK support problem email and JK log and screen capture to the JK support but have received no reply. I have seen suggestions like re-install AI drivers and other things related to fixes on my own computer. I have tried many of these and none have worked. I have tried all 3 networking options in the manage drop down to no avail. I have tried many things to get this to work. I'm beginning to think that if you have to a network and communications expert to use JK. I really don't know what questions to ask or who to ask about these issues. There is a thread under miscellaneous concerning these issues with a few people commenting but no possible solutions which apply to me. Is there anyone here who can help me out with this? Many of you may say post details, configuration info etc. I'd be glad to do this except I would be typing for a great deal of time in order to provide a response. I'd prefer that anyone willing to help send me a private message and we establish a dialog by which maybe we could get this worked out. Thanks... Bill

I'm brand new to this forum and to Jamkazam. I'd like to use my Windows 7 PC with Jamkazam. I have an M-Audio Projectmix I/O DAW that I use with my iMac. It has Logic 8 loaded as recording software. I switched the DAW over to my PC for Jamkazam because I can't go online with my old iMac (Leopard). It's too old and Apple won't update it.
Will the M-Audio DAW work as an interface for my mic and guitar with the Windows 7 desktop? I've firewired it to the PC. I've downloaded the newest drivers (2012) and downloaded the M-Audio FW Control panel. It opens on the PC, but I don't know how to get it to link with the Jamkazam app that I also downloaded. There's no recording software on the PC-just a soundcard and the Jamkazam app. Anyone out there know how to get this working? I'm looking for a buddy or 2 who's familiar with the Projectmix DAW and Jamkazam to help me get going on Jamkazam.

Does anyone have any tips on getting JK and Logic to talk to each other. I've messed with Loopback, it seems to crash JK. I can't get Soundflower to install (possibly because I'm still on High Sierra). With Zoom, Logic needs to use the Zoom Audio Device then it works, albeit begrudgingly. There seems to be no such thing with JK.
Any help is appreciated.

Hello. I have a student that when Jamming with other students, they are only hearing him in the right channel of their headphones. there is a faint sound into the laft channel, but that may be crosstalk in the Focusrite interface. They are running Windows 10 with the latest updates. They have the latest version of JamKazam. They have a Focusrite 2i2 3rd gen that appears to be set correctly. I have tested the cable and microphone and that is not a problem. I saw nothing in the focusrite software or JamKazam that would cause this. I reinstalled the device. I feel it must be a setting. Can someone tell me what I have missed? Thank you. Lee

I had my first test session today with a friend.
Our set-up:
1. On my side - Audio Interface: UMC404HD
- Input 1: Microphone
- Input 2: Pickup from Double Bass
2. On my friends side- Audio Interface: UR 22 mk II
- Input 1: Pickup from Guitar
- Input 2: Microphone
Audio from all four inputs works very well in both directions, i.e. both the voices and the instruments are audible on both sides.
However in the list of "other live tracks" on both sides only the input 1 of the relevant counterpart is being displayed:- I do see only the Guitar of my friend
- He does only see my Microphone
And subsequently we canot adjust the volume and pan of the second input of our counterpart.
What do we need to do to get all inputs of others displayed in "other live tracks"

Hello.
Loving jamkazam so far! Last night though, one of the jams I recorded with a friend had an issue exporting - the steam mix some out correctly (includes vocal track), however the individual vocal 'stem' is silent. Anyone know why? And... is there any way to fix? Both the users (on both ends) have the same issue with the blank vocal track. Is there any 'cache' or local folder where I could find the originally recorded file? if so, where is that folder (on windows).

When I click the "test webcam" button I briefly see a pop-up "jamkazam video" window and then it is overridden by a warning with a yellow triangle that says: "Warning: Video Always on Top Enabled - Jamkazam Live Jamming Music Client". What does this mean?
The video window is blank before it quickly disappears . When I minimize the jamkazam program window, I do not find the video window anywhere. When I go into my camera app to see if it's otherwise working, it tells me that another program is using the camera.
My camera used to test ok, but now this. Any ideas?
