Severe echo |

Hi everyone, like most, I have been using JamKazam since the pandemic started. For the longest time, I was having no issues at all. Recently, for the past month, there has been an issue with my sessions that I cannot figure out. When I am in a session with my band, my joining the session causes a seriously bad delay echo for the other members. At times it manifests as slowing down their voices, as if they were recorded on stretched out tape. As for the echo, I do not hear it. When I log out of the session, it clears up for the others.
I have tried changing every setting in JamKazam to get rid of this issue, but nothing has worked. I am using a Tascam US-366 audio interface on an i-mac. The i-mac is over 6 years old and that is one thing I have thought may be the issue. I do experience high latency sometimes and it may well be the computer processor.
Has anyone else experienced this issue and can help?
Thanks!

Gear setup failure |

Hello, I am trying to setup my audio gear on the Jamkazam desktop application but whenever I try to select my input and output devices from the drop down menus, it says that a device is not connected. I am using an hp omen (connect via ethernet to my router) running windows 10 with a Sennheiser GSP 350 headset connected directly to the microphone and headphone jack (not a combo jack). I have tried updating the drivers on my computer, changing the sample rate, and restarting the application multiple times to no avail. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I keep getting a sample rate error that they don't match (19200 vs 44100) even when I say "match". My latency is only fair, yet, I'm configured correctly, running off an Ethernet and high speed internet. I'm running a MAC OS on a MacBook Pro, Scarlett 2i2 audio interface.
Help, please.

JK Client Not Responding Win10 |

I had JK 1.03794 installed and running fine some months ago and I was able to jam.
I tried to open JK yesterday and it wouldn't open (Client Not Responding)
I decided to uninstall JK and reinstall the latest version 1.03843
I still get the same Client Not Responding message.
I have disabled Norton
I'm running Win 10Pro 64bit
on an intel i7-2600 running at 3.4GHz
I have 12 Gig of Memory
I have auto updates on for Windows, so I'm on the latest version.
What's my next step?

Apogee ONE question |

hey i'm curious to know if anyone uses the Apogee ONE interface successfully on JK. I use it for bass and it sounds great over here, but i'm constantly having problems in sessions with not hearing anyone else--when they can hear me fine. i've reconfigured things a few times over here, and now lately when i get to the point in the audio setup where you supposed to hear the test sounds, nothing. this was not the case before.
i'm running a mac OSX 10.12.6 and as i said the apogee works great for me in other apps. hoping there's some magic setting i'm missing.
thanks...

Audio Device Invalid/Failing |

I'm new to JamKazam and am trying to set up my audio. I'm using a Windows 10 PC and a webcam microphone. I can hear other users, but whenever I try to set up my microphone/audio, I get the response that my I/O rate is poor and "we're sorry, but your audio gear has failed. Tweak your settings". I also get a pop-up box that says "invalid audio device". I've tried two different Windows PC computers, two different webcams, and another microphone. I've checked my firewall and allowed the webcam microphone. My mic works in different applications, like audacity.
Any ideas?

Sound and latency issues switching from old MacBook Pro to new HP LAptop |

I originally had an old MacBook Pro (either 2012 or 13..I can’t remember already.)
Worked like a charm on Jamkazam with my USB Samson Mic(no audio interface).
Now that I’m on a PC (HP 17”laptop) quad core processor (i5), it has trouble picking up the mic, even after it has been tested in audio gear. Sometimes, it works and sometimes I have to reinstall over and over.
The Ethernet is in and WiFi off, but latency is still around anywhere between 13 and 20). On the MacBook Pro, I was getting green all the time at around 8 or even 6.
The sound of other people’s my last session this week was very low and I could not turn them up higher on my end. They said they heard each other loud and clear and could hear me very well but I could hardly hear them.
Also, when I joined with them, they kept getting booted out and had some reds on their stats. Perhaps, my issues were effecting the session..?
What can I do to make this better? Thank you!
