What units are the Tx and Rx bandwidths in? |

In most of my sessions the Rx and Tx bandwidth shown when you hover over the red/amber/green disc are about 350 k. What units are those figures in? Is it kbps or kbytes/sec. Neither makes a lot of sense. If we have 2 stereo streams of 24 bit samples at 48 kHz that is 2300 kbps. With 16 bit and 44 kHz it is 1400 kbps. Expressed as k bytes/sec those figures equate to 287 and 175. None of these figures are particularly close to 350 kbps. (I am assuming Jamkazam does not compress the audio stream into e.g. mp3 format as that would surely add significantly to latency.)
I note that 2300 kbps is quite a high upload speed which would probably not be possible on anything except a fibre connection. However I am having successful sessions with someone on an ADSL connection. So maybe Jamkazam does use some form of compression?

Hi All - please direct me to an existing thread on this, if one exists.
Does anyone have any advice on the best method for a session to have a background track, like rhythm sections, on JameyAebersolds for ex?
I’m sure some have tried it?
Thanks in advance!

Session won't record audio |

I've been in several sessions now over the last few weeks with 4 participants when we attempt to start an audio recording a message pops up at the bottom of the screen saying that a recording is already in progress and a new recording cannot be started. It is obvious that an audio recording is not in progress when this happens. This has occurred during fresh sessions where no recordings had previously been attempted. Has anyone experienced this and been able to fix the problem? Is there a possible reset when this happens or need for cleaning out older recorded files, although I'm not dealing with a very large volume of previous recordings at all.

New version of JK crashes on Quit |

There was an update about 3 days ago.
Ever since the update the app crashes before it can complete it's Quit routines and triggers a Crash report to Apple.
This will not happen if i simply open JK and then quit.
I have to have been involved in at least 1 session.
It's a minor annoyance, but please fix it.
Thanks.

Latency good but I/O poor? |

I'm trying to use a RME interface, when I set the buffer size to 48, I get latency of 3.98ms, but IO fails with rate 19, and var 0.46, and I can't get any further. At highest buffer size 2048, I get rate 798 var 6.13, also fails.
What do these values actually mean, and what value should I aim for?

Guys - I am a vocalist and on the recordings as well as many times my band says I only come in one ear and my voals have static. I am listening to a mix of our rehearsal from tonight and again I hear static and in one ear from my vocals. I have a solo scarlett and blue compression mic. Any help please? I am using windows 10.
Second question - how do I download and cut up the final recording as it is in oss and not mp3 or can i convert and then edit?
