Jamkazam Buid 2.00 "1.0.3728" monitoring glitches |

After a couple of weeks of pretty good performance, today's session (4 players) was really weird. The "Personal Mix" and "Recorded Audio" faders did random things. Everyone seemed to have a master "audio file" fader, meaning if anyone changed that fader it changed volume for everyone. Also, the "personal mix" fader for the player who loaded the audio file controlled his volume and the "audio file" volume. I think a lot of the intent of these mixers went by the wayside in a recent revision.

Blue Yeti iMac macOS Mojave digital distortion |

Hi,
So trying to get my band all set up on JK. Got two working with JK using Scarletts (mic and guitar for one, mic and keys for other). Now working with a third who is sax. THey have a Blue Yeti.
I hear them fine in the session. But they have digital distortion in their mix. Tried:
- different headphones
- restarting iMac
- disconnecting Yeti and reconnecting
The Yeti user previously was on MacBook Pro without this issue. Hadn't tried with iMac until now. Needs an adapter to get to USB-C to go back to MacBook Pro. So more to try.
Anyone had similar issues with Yeti? It is on the list of works with JK.
Stay safe,
Dan

Some Cool New Features Incorporated without Notice |

The last couple of updates to Jamkazam have added some really nice features without announcement that I've seen. One of the old irritants was that if you are recording, you couldn't change a rhythm audio track without terminating the session. Then, you were pretty much stuck until all of the individual player files uploaded and downloaded. Not anymore. Now, you can not only close a recording without leaving the session, but you can load up a new rhythm track recording and start recording a different song. Pretty amazing.
The new "Keep WAVE Recordings" option in AudioBooster+ is really nice, too. It saves tracks from your session in 48KHz/24bit format in a folder labeled "WAV Files" in the same folder where all of the OGG files are stored from the session. No more converting from compressed files to WAV files if you want to mix your session results into a finished product.

JK running on Apple's new M1 processor macs |

Hi all!
Hope you all had a pleasant giving of thanks.
Wondering if anyone has run JK yet on one of Apple's new M1 processor macs? Like the new MacBook Pro 13" 2020 or the new Mini 2020?
And dearest JK developers, maybe you could weigh in here on the chances that current JK Intel based app will work via emulation in Rosetta 2 on M1 processor? And if a native M1 version is being planned or tested already?
Stay safe,
Dan

Focusrite direct monitor question |

I know that direct monitoring should be off when using Jamkazam, but I'm using a 10+ year old Focusrite Saffire pro 40 and there is no button to turn off the direct monitor function. Does anyone have any thoughts on how this should be set up to optimize performance and not have direct monitoring. I'm asking on this forum because the unit is old enough that it is not supported by Focusrite.
Thanks,
Michael

When I use Broadcaster role in 'Live Broadcast Manager' and I click on 'Start Broadcast', nothing happens until I start the Video service on the Broadcaster PC - then the live streamstarts Ok, but I see the video window for the Broadcaster in Youtube (along with the performers) . How can I configure it so that ONLY performers videos are shown in live stream?

Hey folks. I'm pretty new to JK. I have a Dell laptop running Windows 10 with a new Presonus Audiobox USB 2X2 audio interface. I have a good internet connection. I have my guitar going through my Boss Katana Air into the Presonus. Whenever I hit a sting or play a chord it get a little static noise happening. Any ideas why? Thanks - Mike

Allow in-my-home persons to listen in |

JK has been working great. Four friends play together weekly. It would be great if our in-home spouses/partners could listen in while we play. If there is on obvious way to do this, I've missed it. Any suggestions? Thanks!

huge noise when playing/sessioning |

Hello,
has anybody experience how I can avoid contact noise? It appears when I play on my own (starts as soon as I play guitar or sing) as well when I'm in a session with other players. I use a Tascam US 2x2 Audio interface and connect my LapTop via LAN cable to the Router.
Thanks for feedbacks
Guido
