Downloading updated app for Mac
#1
Hi all: When I enter JK, I get prompt to start update of new version.  So far so good.  When that finishes, I get prompt to download app (for Mac), but when I click on the download button, nothing happens (I've tried single clicking and double).  OS is 10.9.5, and I haven't had any issues up until now.  (And I can't enter or start a session.)  Any suggestions?  Thanks!

I have similar update difficulties today; up until today have been using JK without a problem OS 10.10.5
Now cannot use the JK app, "requires the update".
I had to go to JK download site, obtained the update, but it won't run, provides message "no mountable file systems"
Wonder if uninstalling the app and do a fresh install would work ?

They regressed the latest app so give it a bit and try running JK again. It should ask you to install the previous version. At least that's what happened to me with the Windows client.

Myloula -- I was able to download the app (from Chrome, not from within JK) -- and I had the exact same experience as you (the same message "no mountable file systems").  I did try uninstalling the app and started from scratch.  Still cannot connect w/anyone on JK.

As a temporary fix, here's a repackaging I did of the files in the last Mac update: https://www.wesendit.com/dl/q4NLJSpDPsYiZgLuB/

The problem is that the disk image they put it in is formatted as apfs, which 10.12 and below can't open. All I've done is made an hfs+ disk image and copied the files into it. One person reports that it worked for them on 10.11, but I don't have anything below 10.14 to try on any more.
