installing ASIO
#1
HI, I use the Native Instruments Komplete audio 1 interface, and windows 10 desktop computer and I cannot get any DAW to recognise the NI ASIO driver after several installs and re-installs. I use Jamkazam and it readily accepts the WDM drivers, but the latency is too high. Any help would be greatly appreciated

hmmm... that's strange. Its not very common for a manufacturer's driver to not be recognized at all; sometimes by one app, but not usually every app. I assume you are using the driver posted on the NI Support site: Komplete Audio 1 & 2 Driver 4.59.0 - Windows 10. The info states this is the ASIO driver
https://www.native-instruments.com/en/su...her-files/
The only thing I can suggest is to re-run the install, but right-click on it and choose "Run as Administrator". Perhaps you have security settings disabling your ability to write files in some of the Windows directories.
Hope this helps

Yes, I ran it as administrator and it fired up and was accepted, with the latency dropping right down. Thank you very much
