Latency Unknown
#1
I have a Focusrite Solo 3rd Gen. running at 120/48000
I am set up and running on Jamkazam.
The query I have is when I set up Audio gear the LATENCY was grey Unknown, the I/O was yellow and I was able to continue.
Why was my latency not detected?

I tried something similar with Focusrite 2i2 2. Gen(eration).

AUDIO GEAR setup annonced that the actual amount of latency could not be provided.

And that I could do a special test to determine the actual figure, which I never did.

That will say, I tried after the setup - but I am not sure if I did it right.

I could proceed - like you. And go in session and all that.

But afterwards, maybe some hours or days, the actual figure showed up: 7.2 or so milliseconds

it was one I borrowed and I no longer have it

Windows or Mac? If Mac, you could try this: https://support.focusrite.com/hc/de/arti..._1.1.7.dmg
