Jamkazam does nog reconize my Behringer 202HD.
#1
Hello,
I run into the following problem,

Jamkazam does not recognize my Behringer 202HD.
Use macOS Catarina, use the latest version of Jamkazam.
The behringer is visible within the mac itself.
But not visible in the Jamkazam

Now I see that the Behringer um2 works when a Thunderbolt / USB dongle is used.

Could this work for the Behringer 202HD too?

Has anyone tried this out by chance or does anyone know of any other solution to this problem?

Did you add your hardware in the 'audio gear' setup?

I have several people using same audio interface / sound card without any major issues.

NB - just guessing by your name - are you in NL? We could 'meet' online to set things up.

Can you make a recording in Garageband with the Behringer 202HD?

I was finally able to fix the problem after hours of trying.

The problem lay in the installation of Jamkazam.
First you install the Jamkazam from the Jamkazam website.
Then you have to go into the Jamkazam itself and then download the Jamkazam app.
Then it looks like you just download the Jamkazam again, which you just did from your Jamkazam site.
So it seems that you are downloading Jamkazam unnecessarily for the 2nd time.

But that was the solution.
Apparently the Jamkazam downloaded from the official jamkazam site is not enough for the behringer 202HD to be recognized.
But afther downloading, the app recognized the Berhinger 202HD immediately.

That is not how it is normally done and does not make sense.
But hey, if it works for you.

I also thought it was weird, but it solved the problem with both the windows and macOS

Your first login to the JamKazam website does not install the client application. It's a webpage that looks the same as the client interface, and you can interact with your account, etc., but you still have to install the client before you can get in a session.

You did it right.
