Is there any difference between cat5 and cat6 cable when setting up for jamkazam?

Practically speaking there's no difference unless your cable run lengths are very long, you are using fiber ethernet with Gb speed or run physically adjacent to other non-$elded cables. Also Cat-6 cable is more expensive.

Cat6 is barely more expensive than Cat5e so I would just pony up the extra dollar for better future proofing.
