external video camera?
#1
Is it possible to use an external video camera to improve the video quality?  I don't care for the quality of the video from my iMac.

I am able to use an external video camera. I'm using a mac, the video camera is connected USB.. and is recognized in JamKazam.

Yup, no prob.
I use external (USB) cams on both WIN & MAC with JKZ
On MAC I also use my iPhone cam as extra 'webcam' by using the free version of EpocCam (installs on both MAC & iPhone and connects the two)
You'll have to choose the appropriate cam in the video gear setup menu.

Thank you.  What does EpocCam do?  Does it allow you to switch camera angles?

EpocCam (and others) allow you to use your smartphone as wireless 'webcam'.
I myself use it as second camera for teaching, pointed at my feet (I'm a drummer)
