JamKazam not detecting my audio

Hi, 
I logged into JamKazam for the first time since August 6th.  (I usually log in 3-4 times a week)

I am using a Mac running OSX Catalina version 10.15.5 and use a Behringer UMC202HD

I got prompted to load an update.

I got into my session.  I was able to see my partners video and hear his audio.  He could see me but not hear me.  The VU meters under My Live Tracks not moving.  I was able to hear my guitar and voice through the headphones plugged into the Berhinger.

I reset the audio config and re-added my device.  same issue as above.

As a test I opened grageband on my Mac, I was able to record audio and guitar through the Berhinger.  I also tried another app - Youcisian - it also works fine.)

I tried unplugging the audio interface, relaunching Jam Kazam and even rebooting.

same issue, I can join a session, I can see my partners video, I can hear his audio, he can see me but m audio meters not moving.

I also tried the auto device configuration feature for the UMC202 - got this message:

JamKazam client did not detect your Behringer UMC202 Audio adapter.
Please plug the device in to your computer.
Click YES to try again.


not sure why, as the device shows up in the settings and I'm my Macs control panel (and GarageBand and Yousician apps both work with the Behringer)

Was there an issue with the last update?

Since the new update, have had exact same issue trying to add new people to the platform.   We simply cannot configure and add new devices.  We cant get past the 2nd page of adding new audio gear.

was never this hard before.   usually people could set up in seconds but now ive spent hours trying to get people set up and configured.  at the end of the day there was just too much time killed and we bailed on it after changing drivers, trying the infamouys ASIO for all and still couldnt get it like it was just two weeks ago.

we can only assume the latest update needs help.   its isnt going very well.

Not sure if this is helpful.. but by chance did you guys notice some new menu choices under the Manage menu, specifically for a few Behringer interfaces? Granted, I have no idea why they are there and what they are for, but i wonder if since there is no Behringer driver on the Mac and it's been a problematic interface with JK, maybe they are testing something out. Also, you may want to revisit your privacy  / security settings again, regardless if video and audio were previously allowed. good luck.

Richard Bloom : I am a new JK user. I purchased U-PHORIA UMC202HD, but when I tried to add gear, JK did not detect it, and when I tried the auto device configuration under "Manage", it offered "Behringer UMC204HD or Behringer UMC202 (not HD)" neither of which detected my UMC202HD. I tried to install with the old driver 4.38 as well as the newer version of the Behringer driver 4.59. Is there some other driver out there that could help? What is going on?
