UDP Blocked?

Thanks @a873452876,

I've been trying for 8 days to fix the "UDP Blocked" message. Phoned Sky UK support twice, and explained JK worked if I used a TalkTalk service but I got the message when I tried to use Sky.
The 1st agent said they didn't block anything.
The 2nd said port fowarding would be needed, but they couldn't help. "Just look it up on YouTube" was his answer.*

Then I saw your post, and went to my Sky account (which was by default set to age 13 !?) .. changed the age to 18+ (parental controls) ... and everthing then worked.

* I had already set UDP port forwarding on ports 1200-12010, and added wirewall rules on the Sky router to allow them through, but JK still gave the UDP blocked msg.
I tested if the ports were now open using https://www.ipvoid.com - and it now said they WERE open, but JK still gave the msg!
Only when I (decided to grow up ; )  and changed the Sky parental controls did JK work.
I haven't removed them yet, but my guess is that the port forwarding, etc. isn't needed (as it wasn't on TalkTalk) - just the parental controls.

Sky tech-suppport really are not very good.

If you have comcast you have to setup port forwarding because it is blocked by default with Xfinity Wifi. This will require you to first disable advanced security, then you need to add some TCP/UDP ports for each device you are trying to run JamKazam on. You can see the instructions to do this here:

https://www.xfinity.com/support/articles...ss-gateway

This worked for me
