Low audio on mic only

Since most recent update, my mic volume is extremely low and requires setting a super high gain in order to be audible at all.  Tried different cords, mics and interfaces w same result!

Did you get this resolved?
If you say "on mic only" does that mean you use other sound sources as well. Like an instrument? Via the same audio interface/external sound card? And that 'instrument' does have proper levels?
