When trying to run network test, either get a no network servers available message...or
sometimes it starts to run, a message of cannot determine if wifi or direct, and then it
times out.   Wired in to the router directly with a cable...     help, please

Same issue here with a Mac that is hard wired.

Dowmnloaded the update, and have the same problem. The test doesn't recognize that I'm wired connected to router, and when I run the test anyway, it says the session has timed out

Same issue here. I saw a brief pop-up with something about packets. Mac with Mojave and I'm hardwired. Internet is running fine.

Same here. I am new to Jamkazam and the forum. I am connected by ethernet with wifi disabled, and am using an audio interface with green latency. As directed, my router has UPnP enabled with a public IP address. I ran the test to got this window:

“Unable to Determine Network Type
We are unable to determine if your computer is connected to your network using WiFi.
We strongly advise against running the JamKazam application on a WiFi connection. We recommend using a wired Ethernet connection from your computer to your router. A WiFi connection is likely to cause significant issues in both latency and audio quality.”

I retried and got this window:

“alert
Communication with the JamKazam network service timed out.”

I was able to record and play solo video.
Let me know what you think.

Hi Guys

mblack77 went through your network test and got Jamkazam out of Quarintine then tried the Network Test but got this message.

No network test servers are available.

So will keep troubleshooting, nothing else to do lol

Hi Tainuiawhiro,

Its a good beginning. :-)

Sometimes, there is no test server available: its normal as said on a thread I read someplace here (https://forum.jamkazam.com/showthread.ph...d=13#pid13).

Yes, the best thing to do, is continue troubleshooting. ;-)

1) Try to create a Solo Session and see if you got some error again
2) Join an existing session... and see if you ear the others
3) Look at the log to see if you have any error.

Keep me informed
