It is so called peer-to-peer.
All audio and video goes directly from person to person.
It is not passing through the server(s).
At the same time everyone is of course connected to the server(s).
In session one can see the actual figures for the latency; TOTAL LATENCY between people and so. And more.
Out of session it is also possible to some information about the connection to other people.
There should be four servers, but they have - as said - nothing to do with the actual transmission of audio and video. Only managing, one could say
