Others hearing only right channel
#1
Hello. I have a student that when Jamming with other students, they are only hearing him in the right channel of their headphones. there is a faint sound into the laft channel, but that may be crosstalk in the Focusrite interface. They are running Windows 10 with the latest updates. They have the latest version of JamKazam. They have a Focusrite 2i2 3rd gen that appears to be set correctly. I have tested the cable and microphone and that is not a problem. I saw nothing in the focusrite software or JamKazam that would cause this. I reinstalled the device. I feel it must be a setting. Can someone tell me what I have missed? Thank you. Lee

In the track(s) configuration in JKZ there are two drop-down designations per track. Make sure to leave one at 'None', per track.
It'll then be centered/'stereo'.

I think it's a pretty common problem. But now you should know how to fix it. It's not hard.

I think that did the trick. I walked the student through how to do this and I have not heard back, so I will declare victory for now.
