Audio will not start

On Windows 10, using the app, I have been trying to listen in on any of the sessions listed in the ‘feed’, clicking the play button in the green session bar, but every time, it says preparing audio, wait, and then it fails. Just to check, I even get the same results on my ipad on safari on jamkazam.com!
Please let me know what I may be missing..I’m new!

That function is not working.
It has not worked for 3 years or so

PREPARING AUDIO
STILL TRYING, HANG ON
AUDIO DID NOT START

That is the same melody over and over, yes.
It's something of a tragicomedy - lol

Here is more precise information - from 03-28-2020

"There is a feature to listen in to public sessions, but this feature is currently disabled due to high demand. "

"disabled due to high demand" is by the way a strange reason.
"disabled due to insufficient server capacity" might have been better.

In a way, it is meant to be in high demand - it should not come as a surprise. But the server capacity may have been reduced at some point - for some reason - so it was no longer possible to maintain the function.
