When I start a session I get a warning that my font size is 140%. This causes words to overlap in the GUI so they are unreadable. Where are the controls for font size so I can change my default size?

<ctrl> + and <ctrl> -  (<cod> on a mac).

These control the font size.  The setting that you leave it at on exit is retained for the next session.
