my volume going to other player too low

I am trying to use Jamkazam with a friend. I was playing violin and she was playing viola. We both used laptops with Windows 10. Her sound to me was a good volume with no clicks, etc. She said my sound to her was too low. We tried a number of things, but nothing improved the volume. If we increased the volume in Jamkazam on my computer, the sound increased but with interference (clicks and static). What must I do or buy to correct this problem? Otherwise, we were very pleased with Jamkazam and look forward to jamming with others. Thanks. M. Moore,    madandjim@yahoo.com

Try Control Panel -> Manage Audio Devices -> (select) Recording tab -> set Audio Booster to a higher setting.

You start this procedure using the Windows Seearch box normally at the bottom left of your display.
[Do not try to access this via the (gear / cog) "settings" route]...
