Audio Frame Size setting gone?
#11
Oh boy, I'm an idiot. I only saw the mixer page, and not all the other useful tabs across the top there. Thank you all.

*Edit* no.... wait. I'm not crazy. All I see is the mixer after I join a session, even after I leave. I had to restart JK to see the full Diagnosticator.

I find that, although the frame rate can be changed, it doesn't 'stick' at the new setting....

Yeah, I'm having a hard time working all those options as well. I can't get to it once i enter a session, only before. JK needs to reboot if I enter a session and want to get back to the full menus. Changing anything makes everything gray out and my audio stop working, again, until JK reboots. Then its a crap shoot if the setting actually sticks. I definitely applaud the customization menu (still needs an ASIO buffer size request - maybe its hidden in there as something else like the buffer latency), I'm just having a hard time working with it.

I found you have to make the change in frame rate before you start a session and it does stay the way you set it after that.

I just see so many settings to tweak, I WANT TO PLAY WITH THEM ALL. But alas, it is cumbersome to do so.

Wonderful! However, once a session has been started then leaved, those options are gone. Must close and reopen JK (Sierra 10.12.6). Now working with 6.2 ms latency...Yeah!

Yes, I concur, we need a way to set ASIO buffer correctly. And why not CoreAudio buffer on the Mac side too?

Yes, nice to see they are trying to improve things.  I know they have a small team, so I'm sure they are trying to implement new features and stability as a priority.  Hopefully they can take a few minutes soon to let us know how to actually use them!  I get why they wouldn't want to take the time to explain how to use things they are replacing or updating, but a brief update would be nice.

While there are many more settings to play with, I have no idea what most of them are of if changing things will be beneficial or detrimental to my sessions.  Hopefully that info is coming.  My guess is that they wanted to make things more simple for the end user, but are now thinking tweak-ability may be best... at least for now.  Who knows?  At least they added the JamBlaster setup tab.  Maybe people will actually be able to use that thing for more than holding down papers now.

Didn't mean to leave out the Mac side! They're one and the same in my head, mac's need the setting for sure!

No problem, I know you didn't meant it. Sorry, my question wasn't directed toward you but more generally to the devs...

Hi Nick. Where do you find this screen?  Is this part of Reaper? ( I am using PC, not Mac btw )
