I'm sure eventually there will be some sort of communication regarding these possible upcoming changes. But actual support and communications have been sparse, unfortunately.
Let's hope it's not going to be during the covid19 pandemic. That would dislodge a lot of users to other, free/open source platforms.

I say.. not a surprise and understandable. And, for the 10 bucks a month, this is comparable and a better investment then spending money on a few coffee beverages a day. I'd like to see the Gold plan discounted at 100 dollars for a 1 yr plan.  And, I would be willing to pay more if they can show a portion of earnings goes to good causes such as music education to kids, etc.

There are other options out there but don't have the social networking components to them like JK.

Choosing between fancy coffees and JKZ is not the issue nor an option for a lot of people (especially musicians) ATM. They are not making any money/have no income due to Covid19 measures. Being able to play together has been a way to keep sane.

Yes there are and yes they do. The other platforms/apps/programs also have been on the ball for the last 8 months. Rather large communities have developed actually. Including very well organised weekly international open concert/gig nights, fora, websites, FB-groups, etc.
