Running sync resets my buffer to 4096
#1
Hi all,

I just checked to see that my audio card is one that, according to Kevin K.'s post "List of Audio Interfaces", is confirmed to work with JamKazam (M-Audio Delta 24/96).  The specs of my computer are:

FX4130 quad core

16GB RAM

1 TB SSD
2 TB traditional drive

M-Audio Delta 24/96 typically set to a buffer size of 256, works well enough in S1 and Ableton, and 48K sample rate.

Windows 10 Pro

Wired internet connection

This should be fine enough to work with JamKazam I believe but the problem I'm having is that when trying to sync in the audio gear setup the sync resets my buffer to 4096 which fails, obviously, to meet latency requirements.  I have tried to use the card itself and its ports in the input/output device selection and also ASIO but neither prevent the buffer resizing.  Anybody have any recommendations on what to do to fix this?  JamKazam looks like fun but it won't be if all I can do is play along with jam tracks, something I have plenty of already without need to do so online.  Thanks for any help directed my way.
