SIMPLE Reverb Plug In Recommendation - Jlar - 04-24-2020 Hi all...brand new to this...just trying to figure out how everything works. Just looking to add minimal reverb effect to my vocal but JK does not have anything built in from what I can tell. So I guess I need a third party solution I tried to download VOXENGO, but the instructions on requirements, where to put files, etc...didn't work or too complicated for my limited technical comprehension. Anyone have a simple solution to recommend? Many thanks Jonathan RE: SIMPLE Reverb Plug In Recommendation - blandis - 05-06-2020 Jonathan, See my other posted on the subject, here: https://forum.jamkazam.com/showthread.php?tid=625 RE: SIMPLE Reverb Plug In Recommendation - jbuecker - 05-06-2020 We have had success on MACS with the OrilRiver FREE Reverb plugin. I believe there is also a free Windows version. https://www.kvraudio.com/product/orilriver-by-denis-tihanov HTH, ~JB RE: SIMPLE Reverb Plug In Recommendation - GDJ - 05-12-2020 alternatively, why not drop a verb pedal inline with your mic? Anyone have a simple solution to recommend? 'SanfordReverb32' is a free reverb that I have running (fairly stable, so far...). The thing is, unlike Voxengo, (which is a great, stable, Jamkazam-friendly product!), this one is free, and sounds truly amazing! It has granular control over early reflections, mix, time, pre-delay, filter and even includes a 'modulation' feature. Get it here: -> https://www.lesliesanford.com/vst/plugins/ NOTE: The downloaded 'zip' file contains both 64-bit and 32-bit versions - With Jamkazam, you MUST use 32-bit. Further, place it on the channel that WOULD be the stereo pair in your setup. (This is a 'bug' in Jamkazam!) For example, if you have a multi-channel interface and your vocal mic is on channel 1 and guitar is on channel 2, (and even though you have configured them as separate tracks), place the plugin on the channel 2 track, and it will play and work into the vocal, (channel 1), track! Also, make sure that you manage the plugin by first placing it in a folder BY ITSELF so that there's no confusion, (always use this folder for other Jamkazam plugins), then scanning/rescanning to find the plugin. |
