Unclear Pricing - c-sasse - 03-10-2021 Hello, @moderators: I'm not sure where to post, so if this is not the right place, please move this thread there. @all: I encountered differences in the pricing descriptions. The different premium options are shown in lists, which are shown under these two links: https://jamkazam.com/remote-music-rehearsals https://jamkazam.freshdesk.com/support/solutions/articles/66000122535-what-are-jamkazam-s-free-vs-premium-features However, for the "Free" option, the "fast internet connectivity" is shown both as "yes" and "no". What is correct? I'm not quit sure why it would matter though, since it's FREE. The possible better inet routing is probably your last concern on the FREE plan. As opposed to the lower audio quality, limited sessions/hours and session participants, no recording, no video and no support ... . Just saying. In both cases, be it "yes" or "no", there's no "pricing" involved. There are many variables that can come into play such as your home router load, your PC or MAC suitability, choice of audio interface and driver and of course your ISP latency to and from the other players. While I don't want to discourage you, I'd be remiss not advising that getting JK to work can be a challenge. If the group you'll be playing with has a drummer then things get even more challenging unless the latency is really low (25 msecs or less) between all of you. The group I play with could never make the JK experience worth the effort, despite spending copious amounts of time, technical wrangling and money. Here's hoping you'll fare better! RE: Unclear Pricing - Zlartibartfast - 03-11-2021 Fast (25Mb/s or better) wired internet is required for everyone using Jamkazam, no matter how much they are paying. The slowest participant is the weakest link. Definitely give it try if your setup meets the requirements! |
