Does the host's connection effect that of others in the session? - NHMOW - 10-02-2020

In a session of any number of musicians (from 3 to 8+)
If the host's connection to Jamkazam is weak, can it have an immediate effect on the other musicians in the same session?
And, will they all receive a red stat because of the host's connection?

For example, if the host is on Windows 10 with ethernet and receiving a latency connection (red stat color) of approx. 20 ms, with gear driver of WDM. (No audio interface).
Using USB mic with headphones connected to mic. [Does this lessen the quality of the session for everyone (or their connection to one another)?]

Also...
Can the host's (weaker) connection cause others to get bumped off the session as well?

Would it help matters if the host and/or other musicians on Windows 10 (who are only using a USB mic or laptop mic), were to add an audio interface to their individual setup?

Not sure what you mean by 'host'? That the person who started the session? If so, being 'host' is not really an issue, you could leave the session and the rest ('guests'?) would happily carry on.
As for the impact of one peer/jammer on a session?! Yes! definitely! Any peer/jammer with a poor connection (e.g. on WiFi) will upset the quality of a session. No one will be "bumped off" as such but that happens. And yes! an external/dedicated sound card/audio interface will! improve 'everything' ... . And not just on Windows 10 for that matter.
