Using Zoom to demo JamKazam - ersherin - 09-25-2020

I've been having ongoing issues with using Zoom to show off JK to some local frustrated musicians using my Windows 10 box.  Everything works fine except I can't transmit the audio through Zoom and yes, I do know to check the "share computer audio" box when screensharing.  JK says this will work much better on a Mac.  Does anyone have direct experience doing this on a Mac?  Basically I want to use Zoom to show a live session to other musicians and ultimately to a workshop I'm going to organize, and I want them to be able to hear the session audio.

Why not just use JK?  Because I'm still going to have to help each person configure it on their machine, and many of the group are computer-phobic.  I'd like to be able to just sit at my desktop and share the JK world with them without having to get each one set up first.

If Mac users have success I'll go out and get a Mac, I just don't want to spend $$$ if it won't make a difference, since I've already invested in a high end Windows 10 laptop for my setup.

TIA

haven't had success on mac either.  i'm doing a zoom workshop for JK tonight, but i'll just demonstrate the set up, and when it comes time to demonstrate the session, i'll stream to youtube.  mac has an app called ishowu which can share audio from JK to other programs (streamlabs, for example), but i couldn't get it to work on zoom.
