Focusrite connection - tmiddle - 08-15-2020 Ever since the last Jamkazam update, 2nd Gen Focusrite can't get a latency under 85, so it won't connect. Before upgrade I was getting 11 & 12 for latency. What can I do? Solved!! --> "How to set default Buffer size with Scarlett 2i2" Robert RE: Focusrite connection - Hans Peter Augustesen - 08-16-2020 Maybe this is what Robert is writing about !? https://forum.jamkazam.com/showthread.php?tid=1347&highlight=How+to+set+default+Buffer+size+with+Scarlett+2i2 RE: Focusrite connection - Chris Frost - 08-17-2020 I am using Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 2nd Gen with Windows 10. I have had no problems with the last two upgrades ... actually my latency has got better (down from 11.5ms to 7.5ms). Now running version 1.0.3843. Using Focusrite ASIO driver 96000 sample rate, 192 Buffer size, 2ms Frame size, 256kbit/s Bitrate RE: Focusrite connection - geoff@illing.com.au - 08-18-2020 You should be able to achieve 5ms latency. But this involves selecting three items: 1) Go to the Manage screen in the top left hand corner, select audio settings-> audio Booster. You need to change Frame size to 1ms 2) Go to the focusrite asio settings, Set sample rate and buffer size to 96000/96 (or 48000/48. I us 48000/48) 3) Use the add new audio gear menu. You will find that you cannot always alter the frame size, and that JKZ will reset the buffer size to *240*. But by hitting resync you will find that you can change the frame size at some points, and the buffer setting will stick. Keep on resynching till this happens. You will have latency of 4.5ms or 5 ms. |
