I'm slightly confused by the screenshot. It's showing nothing for the frame rate. Was that some sort of stock image, or is that of your actual settings even though you stated 2.5? For instance, scratchiness. In the Audio Booster, the frame rate and bit rate control the quality of sound too. This is my understanding. And, the frame rate is important to control jitter between your audio interface and JK. Additionally, under the manage menu we have seen additional new audio management items. Since the developers are not providing details about these new features, i’m finding myself get caught up in my own trial and error with them. I’m still fighting for a better sound. I suspect you are on Mac too? If so, a few details about your setup would be helpful. But let me suggest/ask, what happens when you increase the Audio FrameSize? I suspect the jitter may increase - but, do you notice any different in the quality of sound? The tutorials regarding improving jitter on you tube are all about windows comp's. Did not see any related to Mac. the surprising thing is that jitter levels do vary constantly. where does such instability comes from?may I should try varying some parameters and look at the effect. i do play together with a music friend who has also same eqmt. she has no jitter issues, and the recent sw update went well on here system??? in one of the other forum topics I read about the latency improvement of Focusrite. After installing this the latency indeed went down from 11,3 to 7,8 ms. b But also jitter seems better. All values in Audio Booster still unchanged compared to before the improvement. |
