Agree with @Zlartibartfast Hypothesis. I too and wondering if there is some sort of perfect formula. Last night I had a session, 4 players and it went well. Player 5 joined, an My Live Tracks refreshed, and one player became grayed out. Not hang or crash.
I typically use 128 kbs, 1 or 2ms frame rate.

Im having a similar issue. Three of us play every Saturday. Last two weeks, one guy drops out of my audio randomly. It's always the same guy. I hit resync and he is back. I am Mac, he is Microsoft. Other guy who doesn't drop is also Microsoft.
